    Not a top 40 hit

    Hey Vanners,

This is my Multi it is a 2008 TDI
Can anyone comment if this hit would of pushed the motor back to the firewall?

And perhaps what other major damage in this area

I take it this is the reason you were asking about "Allianz -Market Value" the other day?
Looking at the danage in the picture I would defo say its a write off.
I would say the engine mounts will be broken in some way (bent or snapped).
I know its not the answer your looking for but what brings you to ask this question?
The insurance companies seen to write off things quite easy here in Oz compared to back in the UK.
Have you taken the roof bars off the Multi?
They will go missing if you have not taken them off.
Ps I will buy them off you if you dont want them.....

Best of luck sorting things out.

    Hi Rob,

Panel shop thought it was a write off but now assessor has asked them to quote.

I would like to write it off as it it the fastest result.
All my bits are safe, if written i will be getting a new multi

    thanks

I'll be honest, it is going to be a pretty tough gig to get that back together for the insured price.

    Hope everyone is ok.

That ripple on the roof (windscreen right top corner) could be hard to iron out. More than just the engine was pushed back.
