No. only noise happens when I let off the clutch in 1st and 2nd gear. It has since been suggested the flywheel is the problem???????

How long since clutch plate has been done if well worn the rivets could be touching the pressure plate .

Dual mass flywheel. Get it sorted before the thing explodes and destroys the gearbox.
Check the rear engine mount before taking the box out, but I'd still reckon the dual mass.
