Newer model T5 suspension kits ?

Okay guys no more winging about the auto , time to move on . Now we pick up our new ride on Saturday hopefully and I already have a shopping list . Most important is a lowering kit . Lots of JOM kits on the net but not for the t5.2 anyone know where they are available from ?

Whatever fits the T5 will fit the T5GP.

Only significant difference between the two is the front strut top bearings. These are interchangeable anyway, and the T5GP ones are being used in T5s as a field fix for the rubbish T5 ones. Spring and damper rates are probably different too, but that won't matter much when you're talking coil overs.

Thanks Transporter the project is going to be a nice over Christmas job have lots of bits to get for the van and then start the transformation , will be hanging on the old one until the new one is finished then we will probably advertise it on some disabled support network sites as it will suit someone with a disabled family member . At least I will rest easy knowing that after all the money spent someone will get a good and hopefully reliable ride . Now Umai Naa if what I read am I to take it that the kits advertised are okay but I will need to take the bearings from the stock and fit to the new stuff is that correct ??? you do mention T5GP excuse ignorance what does that mean ??

    GP is German for 'Facelift'.

It depends how the whole kit comes. If you need strut tops and bearings because they're not supplied, use the newer stuff.
