Congrats, any idea on the wait? Mine took 16 weeks from signature to hand over and since 10 July I've done 10,500km and the furthest I ever travel is upto a 90-100km circle around from Melb. I still laugh when I told the dealer this would be a low km van so get ready for a decent trade-in valuation when I'm back...oh well.

ps. What does the comfort package involve, i can't find my old brochure?

Hi Tornado, ETA is late jan early Feb. Comfort package includes 2 vantiy mirrors, dual horns, extra moise insulation on fire wall and floor pan.
Still waiting for my current T5 to be repaired at Denlos.

Thanks for that. Don't think that was available on my MY07 Transporter as I ordered back in March. Looks like some handy features. I looked at the online brochure and it also mentions b-pillar air vents for the passenger compartment. It would be great if this fed air-con into this area as I had Veh-quip bucket rear seats fitted to my LWB van as the Crewvan only came with a tailgate. I'm wondering if the front only aircon vents can feed enough cool air into the second row on really hot days without having to hit top fan speed. I also had the velour lining fitted and combined with the factory wooden floor and a rubber mat over this have found the van very quiet at cruise.

Hope your T5 is back soon and I know the wait for the new one can be tiring...well it was for me as I had a T4 with 285,000km and didn't want to have to fix anything knowing the new "baby" was coming soon.

I have made a custom ply floor and covered it with a rubber matt. Also have custom made drawers at the rear as well as full height rear panels. Noise is not a problem only when traveling on course bitumen on the old highways. Hopefully the extra insulation on the new one helps. I have a buyer for my old T5 already waiting for handover.
