    New project t4

    Will ive just brought a new project a 98 t4 transporter , it states 4wd on rego but ive brought site unseen so heres hoping. Have a few plans in mind once i work out the transmisson fault . Its meant to lurch forward when in 1st gear (its auto so im not sure). New project t4-$_20-jpg

    All the best with it. If the price was keen enough I suppose you can't go too wrong. I wouldn't be so confident doing that with a T5. Certainly looks nice in the pic

    The seller has been up front about condition and what a problem is that it has , the price was unreal so happy with the gamble

    If it's an auto it won't be 4WD. The Syncro was only available with manual trans.
    Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

    Yeah wrong spec on rego , but after then 4 hr drive home it died 70klms from home so ended on a car trailer

    The basevis still good and at least if motor and gearbox will be good for sometime
