    New Multivan Seats

    Gday
Just went to a dealer to check out the new multi, but they only had a caravelle to look at. However, the sales rep said the the 3rd row of seats in the new multi are no longer removable. The March 2010 info downloaded from the web says "Third row - 3 seater bench, removable and reclining. Mounted on rails to allow longitudinal adjustment". Can anyone confirm if the dealer is right or wrong?

Being able to remove all the rear seats was a really good feature and if it is not possible with the new model, a 2nd hand old model may be the go for me.

    Thanks.

    No.

However, given that the person in question is a 'car dealer' then the odds are pretty high that he/she/it is indeed wrong.

i guess it is not uncommon for a dealer to get it wrong! It's annoying when you know more about the car than the dealer!!

Pretty sure that he is wrong. As defence of my position- there are few changes from the old to new other than the DSG option, engine specs and front end style and dash/steering wheel...

Please see this add for a the model. The new model is same as the previous model regarding the seat shape and seat rails. The Picnic table is now as option.
