We're in the same boat with not many Km's. Now four and a bit years old, and only 50,000 Km's.

I've fiddled a bit using the translate function in Google, not always easy.

In a word, Yuk! If u want "elegance" buy a Vito. To me the front end has lost all of its aggressive looks. I do like the interior updates. I'll be hangin on to my T32 thank u very much. First they kill the V6 and now they make the Koolest van in the world ressemble a Honda. R.I.P

Mate, I had four Vito's and that "elegance" is very short lived, cause after 2 years, Vito starts to fall apart, when my T5 after 4.5 years is like new - in and out. And as for the looks of the T5.2 wait until you see it on the road, it might look different than in the pictures.
I like the changes in interior. Also the performance is better, good fuel economy, what more could one want?

Bugger all. 143,000 in the seven years since I picked it from Chatswood Classic. So your comments are so right. There's no reason for me to jump the gun and get one of these as yet as mine is barely run in. But it's nice to dream a little!!

Looks like we are back to timing belt changes and multi rib belt for the new engine?

I think I will stick with my current 128KW Multivan model for a while yet, assuming it behaves itself.

I also think the new model has lost some of the agressive look and they have hardly gone beserk with the interior updates. Still rather bland and outdated looking in my view.

I think I will wait for the T6.

    Cheers,

    Scott

I have to support your claim. I regularly (twice a week min.) visit the loading bay under a huge CBD office block and literally every type of van turns up MB, VW, Renault, Ford, Mitsu, Toyota, driven by light parcel couriers to heavy item delivery goods and at least 3 Vito owners of 2-3 year old vans in the last 2 months have waited upon my return to ask some very specific questions on my T5, with reliablity, load space, driving quality and economy the top 4 questions.

One minute I'm thinking change into a T5.2, which if with the usual 4 month wait means order Dec '09, get the benefit of the 50% tax rebate, recieve in April '10 and my current van is then 3yrs old/100-120K km when i trade,....then I think wait, buy an extended warranty for year 4 of ownership and trade after the bugs are sorted in the T5.2....then I swing back, 4motion DSG T5.2 ,....then wait....then I go and watch Discovery channel.
