Hey all,
I have recently been looking for a Transporter T3 and I came across one locally and took it for a test drive today.
Drove really nice, started up first time, was smooth and fairly quiet as well.
All lights and indicators were working, radio/tape player didnt work and for some reason the brake light stayed on - anyone know what this could mean?
Couldnt find any major rust spots anywhere or any leaks, I took a few pictures to see what you guys think!
Also the transmission has been replaced.
I don't know a whole lot about them and first driving one, but I was happy being inside the transporter
Pictures can be found here --> VW Transporter T3 - Imgur
Let me know your guys thoughts!
Cheers
A T3 can be an enjoyable vehicle to own if it is good condition, if not able to be sure, then be prepared for whatever might pop up as far as repairs go, if you can get it at a low price and you are capable of doing repairs then maybe treat it as a project. If it has a definite service history then all the better. The brake light on could be low brake fluid, handbrake switch, or any number of other things.
