How much did they charge you?
Most are paying $500-$600 for non-4motion models.
Guys I just got my T5 duelcab 4motion serviced for 30000 as per log book, I asked the service department if they changed my Haldex oil and he said it wasn't required. When I got to the truck I looked at the check sheet they gave me and it stated for 30000km the Haldex oil was to be changed yet it was not ticked. So went back in to the service centre and showed him, he said give me a minute then went to check it out. He came back, then told me that it was only to be changed under extreme driving conditions, as they don't do the filter till 60000 that is when the haldex oil should be changed. Is this correct ? They also stung me a lot more than they did for the 15000 service. This was Paul Wakelings Campbelltown.

no.....seems pretty normal. Read here:

Pretty standard then I guess, but I still don't fall for there excuse for not changing the haldex oil in my 4motion when Vw say it needs to be done. Anyone else had there Haldex changed as part of the standard 30000 service.
It's at 60,000klms under normal conditions.
