    My New (Old) T4

Just Got myself a new Van to replace my old Ford Ute.

And some signwriting to promote my business.

Shes a ripper so far, I looked under the bonnet and went "Thats a Golf Engine!" It has the cracked manifold problem and needs a rear door seal, besides that shes great.

Its actually not that slow if you cane it through the gears. Gearbox is quite positive. Nice toi sit up higher than the ute too. And you can get 2 pallets in the back

Yeah 6 weeks into ownership, its great. It pulls away quick enough, cruises at 130 all day long and is just like a Golf to drive.

The lack of power steer is not an issue due to the huge steering wheel.

Only faults were temp sensor, which I have changed, tired gearbox and flatulent exhaust.

It needed a new rear door seal $350 genuine, or $50 Clarke rubber. It wasn`t a hard choice.

The van can carry huge loads and I have towed a few cars with it too.

I have owned many Toyota and Ford Utes and Vans and various others, I wont be going back, T4s rock.

I read once that if ordinary ULP is used, it can crack a manifold. I've always used PULP.

Yeah I think it is a sign that the previous owner used lowgrade fuel. I always use 98 or 95 octane and it makes it a different vehicle to drive. Any I reckon I go heaps further. More bang for my buck.
