My dealer says my Multivan Highline can't have a MDI interface installed

Can someone help here. My VW dealer just told me that my Multivan Highline cannot have the ipod MDI interface installed becuase it has a CD stacker (came as standard equipment).

Is this true?

Specifically MDI, no. What you should be fitting is the MEDIA-IN kit (part no. 5N0057342) and iPod cable (part no. 000 051446C)

Ahhhh. So I took my van in and have the interface kit installed but it was installed in place of the CD player. When I cannot the ipod all the play lists now read as CD1, CD2, Cd3 etc and Track 1,2,3,4 etc.
