If your going to make one you can decide your own dims.

It'll be the width of your seat/bed and the depth will be determined by how long you want your bed to be - or - how much space you have between the back of the seat and the rear doors.

The price mentioned above made me spit my porridge out!! Definately make your own

The height of the Kombi Beach one is the same height as the seat when a 2inch overlay sponge matress is on top of it. It starts out being about 2inches lower than the seat.

    Thanks Brian

I think that i will make the Board the same height as the Seat layed flat and have a foam mattress cut to suit.

    Rob,

I have done a template to suit the top, just interested in the z side frames and locking mecanism.

I assume that the board is 1140mm between centres of the track ?

For the Z frame it looks like the top rail is around 200mm longer than the bottom ?

I plan on using this system http://www.maytec.com.au/a/19.html

I will give you a call.

    The Bug.

I used to use Maytec to build production lines. Its very good, very strong, very bulky and from what I recall its pretty pricey.
straights, 90's and 45's are simple - anything else gets awkward when trying to use the fasteners (unless you have one of the many custom doofers they seem to have for any occasion).

We had tons of it in our store - until we skipped it one day !!! We had Maytec for its adaptability and because it was easy to use in house but we ended up going back to having sections fabricated from steel to save money - seems crazy but its true
