Mattress options for false floor in T5
Hi all
I have recently installed a DRIFTA kitchen system in my new T5. It's looking great. All that is missing now are curtains and a mattress. I have seen some interesting posts here regarding curtains and am likely going to follow Ken's lead and import the curtains and rails from VeeDub in the UK. I have called a few motor trimmers in Sydney and no one offers a similar product.
Regarding a mattress I have gone to a few mattress shops who can cut a double mattress to size to sit on the false floor and flip out over the back seats (when folded to a flat lying position). However, the mattresses are a cheap foam and my partner suffers from back pains. Has anyone spent a little bit more to get a quality latex or other type of mattress for the back of their T5? If so, where did you go?
Cheers
Fredro

Hi fredro, if you are talking about a mattress that folds away when not being used then we did this in our T4 which has a back seat that folds down into a bed. We had it custom made to size, number of folds and cover material through Foamworld who had a range of different density foams to choose from. As our old roll-up mattress was made of thin foam, and was very uncomfortable, we were a little apprehensive about using foam again but we couldn't be happier with good night's sleep that the new one provides, plus it stores neatly out of the way when not being used.

Talk to a Marine Trimmer as they speialize in custom shapes for boats etc and as stated before there are many different grades of density in foam.
