Link seems to work OK, maybe they were all asleep when you tried.

Found it...realise the thread is 5 years old...has anyone got any more information about this type of product.
Am thinking about a sliding mid window...but maybe this makes more sense.
I need to sleep in the van sometimes when working overnight...and even in industrial areas there's damned mozzies

Yep they work ok, got them on my LWB, have used them a fair bit, with it when I got it.
Hi aSimpleLife, I have a T4 campervan that we often sleep in. To keep the mozzies out I just cut some flyscreen to size and used self adhesive magnetic tape from Officeworks to secure it over the outside of the driver and passenger windows.
They work really well and are inexpensive. They are quick and easy to put on and take off and you can still wind the windows up and down as necessary!
GC
Thanks very much for that.
If it's as easy as going to OfficeWorks then I should get off my but and just do it.
And with the insect screen, is there any type that is best?
I've got a recreational vehicle store near me - would that be the best place to source the insect screen from

This is the tape I used Magnet Tape 3m Roll | Officeworks tape and I just used normal nylon fly screen from Bunnings so that it didn't scratch the paintwork.
I also replied to your other post if you are looking for something for when it is raining or if security is an issue.

Thankyou again.
Have followed up your other post too thanks.
Looks like at this stage I'll use this insect screen construction and see what else appears over time.
I must say I am happy not to waste a perfectly good bonded window - even though in hindsight I should have put in a sliding one in the first place.
At least my procrastination seems to be working to my advantage this time
I'm off to OfficeWorks and Bunnings as we speak.

Well I've spent my $12.90 (including GST so all I've got to do is make it a priority on the near queue...and not stick it on the pile that is my dastardly far queue.
Looking at your picture for the T4 version, I see that the short edge has no magnetic tape, so assume that runs into plastic there?
With the T5 the whole long bottom edge is plastic. So I suppose I could just leave the insect screen a bit longer to hang over the edge and that should seal things well enough? Not sure I want to use velcro or anything attached to the plastic door trim for the few times that I require this. Unless anyone has any suggestions?
topgear2go.com.au have got back to me regarding insect screens for the front drivers and passenger windows for a T5. They have an inside fitted option and an outside one.
External fitting door window magnetic insect screen for VW T5 that do not have weather shields installed: Price $80 per screen plus P&P
Internal fitting passenger door window magnetic insect screen for VW T5: Price $95 per screen plus P&P
I'll try and attach the pics now.
