    Hi

It was about $40.00 as I had it Express shipped as I needed it for the weekend.

    Hi all

Can anyone confirm if the mag socket runs directly from the second battery? Also, is it possible to get an adapter to plug my normal lighter plug in for the fridge? This will save me having to change the plug on the fridge.
    Thanks

The mag socket on the drivers seat is connected to the secondary battery. I replaced mine with a standard cigaret socket so I can plug anything into it. To do this yo need to pull the plastic part off the seat, I think it clips on, and also the hole in the plastic is a little too big so you need a large flat insulating washer to adapt it, something like you get in tap and toilet cistern washer kits.

Thanks heaps for that, don't really want to flatten the wrong battery if I leave the fridge running overnight.
Was coming back from the sunshine coast this morning and saw a beach with the offroad grey and orange stipes heading up the coast, actually the first time I have seen another beach on the road. I just sold my 76 kombi camper, so pretty used to the kombi wave, seems the beach is rarer than the old bus!

I was between brisbane and Caboolture yesterday between 11:00am and 12 so it could have been me. Is yours a yellow one, I didn't see it unfortunately.

You are right about the rarity, I think there is another orange stripe one living around Caloundra, and I have seen one near Byron Bay.

One day at Maroochydore we encountered two different orange ones within an hour or each other. What a great day.

We always like to see another one on the road.

    Mag Socket - Beach

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the info on the mag socket - it has had me a tad confused.

I have just got myself a beach - silver (no stripes) - conservative but its growing on me.

I am on the gold coast - so you should see it on the road anywhere between Byron and the sunny coast on a regular basis.

    Cheers

    Jeff
