Ok there seems to be lots of interest in lowering the T5.

I know lots of these are not practical or useable and would get pulled by the police over here but thought I would put a link for your amusement.
Any lower t5s out there than this? - VW T4 Forum - VW T5 Forum
Sorry if it offends some of you but others like to look at things like this to get ideas...

Damn there are some crazy bastards out there! Or are the roads in the UK *that* much better than roads in Australia? Permanently running that white T5 that low is ... wow.

I like the idea of a decent set of bags on the T5 to allow the flexibility of clearance when it's needed as well as stance the rest of the time

A lowered T5 that low would be pretty stupid as most of the carparks etc would stop them dead , I told a guy one day that I could beat him in a race around a local car park ,he with his so low HSV and me in my standard ride T5 . Obviously it didn,t happen but I have followed many cars into shopping centres and spent an infuriating amount of time waiting for the stupid idiots to figure out the best approach angle so he doesn,t wipe out his skirts and spoilers . I just love {not } watching these idiots with no suspension or worse 28inch wheels and rubber bands for tires trying to cross a speed bump .Howard

I am currently looking for some airbags all round for the van. I want to be able to drop it to get into my garage. It would spend most of its time at max elevation. I enjoy having ground clearance

After test driving an ambulance with air bags all round, I want! I'm willing to sacrifice some "dynamics" for comfort.

I've got a quote in ~AUD3500 with on board compressor and tank...Anyone with first hand experience with any T5 systems?

Interesting. Where is the tank mounted? I'd be concerned with loosing space and/or the ability to move the seats in the multivan.

Patience - I have to lower the rear until I take some proper photos of her.

For now this will have to do!

Here is the best indicator of how low she is at the front...
