I have a van without barn doors (not even sure what thats called!)

ive seen plenty of drop down tables for the barn doors....does anybody have any tips preferably with pics! for a table with a 'swing up rear door'

    thanks in advance

I can picture what you are after and it could be done by a handyman , there are some considerations to take into account the weight of the table may cause the "tailgate"to sink down as the telescopic struts may not hold the extra weight . Then how wide do you want the table because when it folds down you will only have the distance from the bottom of the windscreen down to the floor level to utilize for the tables width . You may be able to use some folding legs from a camper table to support the table when it folds out a simple hinge would support the table at the point where it is attached and then maybe some sort of simple latch to keep it against the tailgate when not in use .
