Just bought a Multivan Ltd 25 and confused on adding sat nav

Hi ,

I have had the Multivan Ltd 25 for a week now and loving it.
I want to fit a GPS head unit . It has RCD310 and want to install RNS510 but looking at this forum its a little confusing what to do. Just want to know where can I buy one cheap with aus maps etc and who could install it for me? Can anyone point me in the right direction. Would like to add reverse cam as well.

Ebay Australia has a few RNS510s at the moment, all with Aus maps. I would go for minimum "C" model at the moment. Installation is very straight forward, look in the the thread Transporter linked to.

The only thing you will have to do is find a member on here in Sydney that can code it for you to work with the MFD. Without the coding it will still work fine and will still display A/C and BT info on the RNS510 itself.

Worth every $$$$ IMO.

I'm coming through Sydney in September and can help then, but thats too late I suppose.

On the reverse cam, this is a very tricky job as the cables have to run a long way ..... I'm investigating a wireless RVC at the moment ..... will post update if and when I do it in that linked post ....
