Need a side mount not under mount. I have to take the bumper off to adjust.

Just did this on my truck, easy as hell. Watch the vid on the website for instructions. Only problem will be duct covers or bulb type.

So finally got around to fitting my light bar on the weekend. Very happy with the finished product. Only took a few hours to complete. Removed the bumper (about 30-40 mins) , fit the light bar and connect wiring, (30 mins max.), run the switch wire into the cabin and into the dash (2 hrs. This was the worst part). Refit the bumper & cut out opening for light bar (30 mins). A lot easier than I expected. (Was going to put up some pics, but haven’t worked out how to post pictures yet. Still new to this). The wiring harness that I bought with the light bar makes it so much easier. Wouldn’t do it any other way. Gonna make a huge difference for our trip across the nullarbor this weekend.

So hopefully this works. First pic obviously with bumper removed.

Cutting out opening for the light bar, and then the finished product.

Just need to see if I can find a different switch that will fit into one of the dummy covers in the dash.

Same way we did ours except ours is connected via a relay to the high beam saves having to turn a switch off and on when in use .Installing a light bar or driving lights-vw11-jpg
    Without bar normal low beam

With Cree on with High beam

Which of course is the only legal way to connect it

Can have a switch which only works when High beam is on.

From one who was pinged for not having D/L wired up correctly LOL

This one is the same. It will only work if the high beam is on. I can choose to have the high beam with or without the light bar on. That’s what the switch is for.

I figure that I can scare the beejeezus out of someone who is front of me when I pass a fixed speed camera by very quickly flashing the high beam , all the car in front will see is a bright flash and they will think the camera has got them . And NO I haven't done it to anyone yet .

You're a man after my own heart.

I got sick of a site I visit continually asking me if I was over 13 & soliciting my email address, so I gave up last week & offered them the National Security email. They haven't bothered me since.
