Sorry kordo I have not found any places that sell adaptors as each Adaptor is made for each unit so if it was a Pioneer it would need to be made by Pioneer and so on . Every car radio has different plugs and the adaptors are made as part of the wiring loom for each model radio . There are some adaptors to suit some model OE VW radios if you were to upgrade from a basic unit to a higher spec model as it allows for reverse camera and steering wheel control . If you buy a Chinese unit it will come with the adaptor for that unit some models here Search Results : erisin.com

Do you know that you could get the RCD510 and if you're just after the BT and RVC, then you could buy the VW BT unit and just an adapter for the aftermarket RVC and it would still be cheaper than buying aftermarket head unit and the aftermarket canbus adapter?
That's what I would do. IMO, the RCD510 and the RNS510 are far superior to Chinese units, in the way how they function.

    Miro, bummer about the ANS

Here is a well known brand alternative that promises CANBUS integration, SatNav and BT (Parrot no less). Mosfet Amp and AVC input for your aftermarket camera! Off eBay for about $750 I believe, also available from any Pioneer stockist. Fits straight into 2012 T5 dash.

AVIC-F9310BT Multi-sensor GPS, Entertainment & Communication System exclusively for Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda cars - Pioneer Navigation - GPS

I agree with Transporter, my options would be as follows:
    1. OEM RNS510/RCD510 with VW BT module
    2. This Pioneer
    3. ANS/DNS radios
    4. any other Chinese radios

Transporter, would you have some more details about the option of an adaptor for RCD510 to connect RVC?
Does RCD510 have some sort of video input at the back or front? Is that what the adaptor is for? What kind of an adaptor would be suitable? Thanks for commenting.

Yes I had a look at this one the other day all I did not like was the piddly little screen seems a shame to make a compartible unit and only incorporate such a small screen area , maybe I am just fussy as I like the full screen 8inch one that I have .Here is a review not mine but it has merit .http://www.cnet.com.au/pioneer-avic-...-339298117.htm

I got an adapter for the not OEM RVC from Audi upgrades (forum sponsor). To use it with the RCD510 you must have the yellow 26 pin connector at the back in the unit. But, if you have the 26 pin connector, don't get the adapter for the non OEM RVC, get the OEM RVC for the Multivan or Amarok it will connect straight into that 26 pin connector for the similar cost. I only opted for the video adapter because I've already fitted the aftermarket RVC in that Touareg and don't want to install the handle RVC into the tailgate (not the easiest thing to do, if done properly)

Sorry was half asleep when I replied. What is the username of Audi upgrades so I can PM them about the RVC adapter?

So are there any mods needed to fit an RNS510 or RCD510? or do they just plug straight in?
