Found 2007 with 400k km at a substantial discount and everything looks ok/normal - what's most likely going to blow up soon?
Am I better off walk away and spend a bit more cash on something younger with less km's?

Auto, 2.5L diesel (R5?) and it's a Multivan.
If its got the Triptronic auto then research my posts , ours failed at only 135000 repair bill $11000 so a thorough check of the cars history would be a wise move . The engines will last for the sort of kays done if serviced correctly but the auto could be a problem , but again there are some autos that are okay .
Yes, it would be good to know the service history. Especially of that A/T.

Think you'd be buying trouble mini2. I think anything with 400K is trouble. Nothing lasts for ever, and I'd be looking at a good ex ambo for $20K with 50K mileage if it was me. A mate just got a 2009 for around this price.
