Help !!

An update.
Well the first engine arrived, yes, the first engine, and after pulling off timing case cover we found shredded belt ?
We also found a water pump without a single bolt ? W.T.F ?
So I called supplier who was very willing to supply another engine.
Second engine arrives, pronto, well done to Darren at Brookvale spares. Next problem,
We fit water pump and belt wont fit ?
Back to spare parts, we discover that belt supplier has put wrong belt in kit.
So now i'm waiting again.... Cursed ...?

Shredded belt would probably mean the engine was cactus any way , if im not mistaken once the cam belt lets go its blind date time the pistons are introduced to the valves in a very unfriendly manner . I can relate to the problems of different size belts etc as we also tried to fit an engine only supplied with out some parts and ended up giving up and bought a running van as a donor . The ecu was a real problem along with the instument cluster as their are many different ones and the mongrels have different connectors thats why we gave up . Hope yours goes well from now on .Howard
