Dash Light on

Hi there,

there is a dashboard light turns on ramdomly on my 2002 Transporter T4 SWB 2.4EFI, the light is like this


When it shows up, all headlights are off automatically. What is this light mean? Could anyone help me let me know please. I do not have the manual because I bought my T4 from personal used car.

If anyone have a PDF manual that can share with me for this van? Real appreciate it!

Isn't that your brake pads warning light? Brakes might be on the way out.

Check the brake fluid level too.

On the T5's the sensors are on LHF and RHR only.
Might be same for T4

Thanks guys! I have checked the brake fluid level, it is fine. I'll take it to the mechanic to change my brake pads.
