Goodyear G26 Cargo tyres

Hi,

Has anybody recently priced G26 Cargo tyres? I am about to buy two for the Caravelle ( now for sale) and have been quoted $180 each balanced and fitted.

Last time I bought some they were pretty close to $150 for 205/65R15....that was nearly five years ago. Last time I priced them they were more like mid $170's but that was 18 months ago and the GT Radial's were significantly cheaper...a smidge under $150

Thanks for reply Seano, I think I will shop around a little further. Initial quote was $200 per tyre fitted and balanced from Beau Repairs. When pushed they reduced to $180 for 205/65R15.

Many Thanks Maris. I want to stick with the Cargoes, as the other two tyres (Cargoes)are reasonably new. I paid too much for these ones last year ($200 each balanced and fitted).

PS: the Silver Caravelle Auto s now on the market. 115,000ks in excellent condition (inside and out) and regularly serviced by Volkspower (Burwood -Melb). The new black Multivan arrives around 27th July. If anybody knows of anybody in the market for a Caravelle -please PM me. I will get some digital photos organised this weekend.
