Gold Coast Mechanics
Hi,
New to the forum. I'm about to purchase a 2012 T5 LWB 4Motion diesel DSG transporter and want to get a mechanic on the Gold Coast to go over it with a fine tooth comb after purchase to ensure everything is running perfectly. I've already had a mechanic down in Sydney do a prepurchase check but now I want a full service and any extras that might need doing. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic on the Gold Coast or should I take it to the VW service center?
It's just ticked over 100000km does anyone know what requires replacing at this service? And anything else you can think of that I should be asking to have checked....
Thanks in advance

Number one do not take it to the stealers , hopless as tits on a bull . Check around a few of the Euro guys there is a guy called Anders at Eurotec Burleigh Heads I have done some sunroof work on their customers cars and they have a good reputation . There are a couple more but not sure how good they are . I use a company at Slacks Creek K& G Automotive they are very particular and check things you wouldn,t think off . Its your choice but VW dealers ? no .

Thanks for the info. I contacted Eurotec and K&G and they both sound like they know what's up. Glad I didn't just take it to the dealers haha. Ended up buying the vehicle today, pretty excited to test the 4motion side of things out. I'm tossing up getting the seikel lift kit for a little more height.

Your welcome Lance under normal circumstances I would have recommended Jmac he is a Forum supporter also at Slacks Creek but no longer works on the commercial VW models , he is a hell of a good VW mechanic and nice guy all round .
