Glow Plug?

Hi there,

I'm from Melbourne and have a 1999 VW Transporter TDI.
I found this forum via google as im having some problems with my van.

If i drive it for 60min and stop and do whatever it won't start again for 20min or so.
It sometimes does it, other times not.

Now it won't start at all and the glow plug light will not come on.
It turns over will just not fire.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the glow plug, but more likely the relay
If you're anywhere out north, talk to John at Volkshome
Not a great deal he doesn't know about vee dubs

I have found some square replays drivers side behind the box thingy that you unscrew to remove.
I have 4 relays - written on the front 99 and 103 on a line of it's own.
109 and another one on the row above it.
Is it one of those?

Above those is 3 black Bosche ones.

I can find lots of information on various models/cars but no pictures on a T4.

Problem Fixed!

A friend told me to open relay 109.
Inside is a little connector, he said jam it open and plug it back in - she started.
I have just ordered a new replay online.
