You can actually reset the service reminder via the MFD set up function. Well, that what i have done to my tiguan and gti and r.

I'm in Sydney, 2011 Transporter, has done 41K, had one logbook service during it's warranty and non dealer oil twice (I provided the right type) and also one transmission oil change (I checked they got the right type) about 6k ago. I am now wondering should I wait for the 60k before doing anything else, I can't see anything major coming up before then?
I am on Northern Beaches Sydney so would be good to catch up if I need a service?
Cheers
If you're not doing the distance, just have it serviced every 12 months.

Just dropped off the T5, got a frosty reception when I asked for a 'hybrid' service, have done 40k in the vehicle, asked for the 30k service without oil change and without pollen filter change. Asked for brake fluid change and the usual inspection stuff. He grumbled the whole time, I explained I do low k's, vehicle is 2011. My other mechanic will do oil change, tyres x2 and rotate, and any brake work that may be needed once VW have reported the brake ware info.
VW cost will be $470.00 My other mech will charge $160 as I supply parts. Full VW price would have been $730.00
So how much will the parts cost you?

Picked the van up last night. The now friendly assistant informed me there were no major issues. Brake fluid changed. 30k service carried out without the oil change. As it didn't take as long as they thought..$328.00
Now off to get the oil changed and two new tyres. Oil for $65 supercheap, filter $18. Federal 235/55/17 103 $150 each fitted.
So not a bad result. Now just have to get the peeling paint on the roof sorted.
