    DSG

    Been whiling away the time reading old threads & chasing issues I have (issues my Multivan has), but damn, it makes me feel dumb.

    How do I know when the DSG is doing a regen?

    Do you mean DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) rather than DSG?

    DSG is the supposed manual auto gearbox and the DPF is going to kill your car if you don't regen properly when needed . This might help understanding the DPF Diesel particulate filter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
