The short answer is, yes .... subject to offset, Amarok and T5 wheels are interchangeable.

A better, common and much cheaper solution is to use either BMW X5 wheels or RangeRover wheels as these both share the 5x120 stud pattern and spigot rings to adjust to the slightly different bore is freely available.

I will be running X5 wheels on my Amarok.

Your other options could be the Touareg, Q7 and Porsche Cayenne wheels. I sold the Touareg wheels off my wifes reg to someone with a Roky and fitted Cayenne wheels to the Touareg.

Actually, no. All of the above has a stud pattern of 5x130 where the Amarok and T5 has a stud pattern of 5x120. Those wheels will only fit with an adaptor, which is illegal in all states in Aus.

The T5 has an 51 offset whereas the amarok alloys (Aldo) are 49 ... which apparently inst too much of a drama. There is the matter of fitting/getting the tyres to do the job on the T5.

There are heaps of other choices that will fit T5 early series . Holden Commodore rims fit straight on I have been running Holden Crewman 17 inch since 2007 on my work van and also some other style on our family van as well .No problems and they are rated for one tonne as the Crewman is a V8 and carries same load . Yes I know some will say that it may not be legal but so far Transport have said nothing or the Police .What is funny is the confusion when people spot the centre caps with the GM logo , they scratch their heads until I explain why .

X5 wheels is an easy fit to both T5 and Amarok. The rims I'm fitting actually came off another member here's T5 buy a fitment kit from the UK $70 includes 20 wheel bolts suitable to BMW rims plus suitable to VW thread depth plus spigot rings to fix the bores. Easy

I believe so, a kit includes:
    - 4 x spigot rings (to adjust for the bore differences - BMW 72.6mm and VW T5 65.1mm) which I believe is OK
    - 20 x OEM BMW wheel bolts (has a rounded seat instead of VW's flat) which as OEM equipment is OK

Without such a kit (or the items purchased individually if you prefer) you will not be able to fit BMW wheels to your T5

My opinion is an opinion only and not meant to constitute legal advice in this regard. If you need to be absolutely sure, check with the Transport Dept.
