Dismantling a T5 Bench Seat?

I've given up finding a double front passenger bench seat for my T5 in Oz, so figure I'll bring one back from the UK on my next business trip.

The cheapest way to do this is to bring it back as luggage - but it'll be far too big as a single piece. Has anyone ever attempted to dismantle the bench seat - removing the backrests and seat cushions for example?

How urgent do you need it?

I am moving over as soon as DIAC pull there finger out and give me a visa.

I could put one in my create with all my van bits and a few house items...

Wife thinks its the other way
