Hi,

Just picked up my new Multivan Comfortline 4motion with diff-lock, window tint and hill start today.

Absolutly loving it. Joy to drive!

Only problem was the seats are missing the child seat anchor points. VW going to swap over from a different van next week hopefully. My youngest is not happy about not being able to have a spin!!

Interesting question regarding what is defined 'factory tint'. My new Multivan Comfortline had the tint added locally predelivery - although ordered with tint. All windows including front (excluding wiindscreen of course) have been tiinted with darkest legal tint in Victoria.

Do you think they may have screwed up the order to the factory and had it done as an after thought?

Having said all that I am very pleased with the result!

Who knows, you can never trust a stealer. They want their money as quick as possible so if they can find what you want somewhere in Australia I guess they would have tints done locally. But if you waited ages as the car was made to your spec and shipped then the dealer probably stuffed up.

There is no film on mine so I assume it was done at the factory. I wonder why it does not include the driver and passenger window?

congrats on your purchase, nice colour!! (what is the colour's name)

Our kombi beach had factory tint on all rear windows, but not front, driver, passenger, we had them done locally and also did the rear windows (even though they were tinted) to make it even darker which looks great! the front side windows are done to legal only.
