Getting it off your chest would help, but nothing would dull the $14,500 pain.
Received a phone call from my local VW sevice lady this morning to remind me in a cheery voice that our older T5 was due for servicing again . I do not believe in getting agro or using bad language when dealing with people , so I spent five minutes explaining calmly and politely why I would NOT be using their dealership to do any service work on any of our Vans . The lady was pretty understanding as I went through the saga of what happened last year when they had our van in for some work . By the time I had finished I could tell from her response that she was in complete agreement with me on how I felt , so I kindly asked her that if the call was being recorded as most are these days that she should make her bosses aware and listen to the call . What seemed strange was this lady was not aware of costs involved in repairing some components , after I explained that I had spent over $14500 on repairs she was sort shocked that it had cost that much to fix on a van with only 135.000kays .

Yes I vented my spleen plenty of times last year and on this forum but I won't drag it all up again on here as everyone knows about it anyway . But whenever I get the chance Igive to VW on their Facebook page . I get asked by my customers what I think about VW in general and its the same response I love the vans to drive but just wish VW would make the technology more simple as too much seems to go wrong these days .
