    Dash warning lights T5 2005

Okay technical question time for those who are smarter than me , for the last few weeks I have had the TCS and ABS lights come on at the same time sometimes they come on immediately after starting and other times after some driving time has elapsed . Sometimes at highway speed I can quickly switch off and then turn on and they go out for a some time . The van is 2.0 petrol manual 2005 T5 250000kays . Thanks guys in advance .Howard

    Hi Howard.
Best bet mate is to have it scanned. These systems are both part of the abs control unit. Not saying that is the fault but scanning would point you in the right direction for a repair.

Even though the lights go out it should still log a code to start you in the right direction....VDUB...

Syncrotek might be onto something as the problem only started after I got the van back from the panel beaters after the runaway accident so I might check around the back of the van as they did replace the whole outer skin on the drivers side from the door to the tailgate so it stands to reason that they may have removed some part or the rear wheels . I will check .
