"Comfort Pack" in T5 double cab

Had a customer in this week with a no option T5 double cab with no options, so I finally worked out what it is (Mine came with the "comfort pack")

It has map lights & such over head. It has rear seat air conditioning!

My kids are most grateful it has that.

Just incase anyone wants to know if its worth the extra bucks or not!

I was lucky - It was a canceled order I picked up cheap.

only downside is it also came with black paint - an option I really could have done without!

Funnily enough - when I bought it, the sales people & even VW AUS could not tell us exactly what the "comfort pack" was!

That's not funny - that's just sad.

Bit like the cruise control fiasco on the post 2000 TDi's.....they can all do it as part of the ECU programming.....yet when I ask for it to be fitted I got a stand alone cable control unit (and paid $1000 for the priveldge).

VW Oz never even knew the capability was there.....they just tick the boxes when they order the thing.
