Can't find any info on '97 T4 central/remote Locking.

Tom,
It might pay to have a squiz inside the back door before you run the wiring.
The back door lock on lift up models has a 90 degree twist and park action on the outside key lock.
Not sure if that will work correctly with the actuator push/pull on the same rod.
The red inside emergency button works directly on the latch, regardless of the lock position.
Still 3 out of 4 is worthwhile.

Yes, I was wondering about that. The emergency lock probably isn't designed to lock and unlock all the time... I wonder whether there is a work around.
