Brake supplier.

I have for the last 20 years or so been using a supplier here in Brisbane for brake rotors pads etc. They were originally sponswers of this site which is how I found them , I paid and placed an order with them a month ago and so far only one email telling me they had to come up from Sydney to Brisbane .I have on previous occasions picked up parts in person but when I hadn,t received any more email or messages I thought I would just swing by their office and check for myself . Sadly it seems they have either shutdown or moved , there is a strange message on their Facebook page but unsure whats going on and may have done my money ! Brakes Direct is the company , anyone else dealt with them of late ?

I used them a few times after your recommendation Sunny, as they are just down the road from me and its easy to pick up.

I just had a look at there Facebook posts, looks like multiple issues, one of the owners is having a tumour removed and the other got an injury, and at the same time having to relocate.

From this post it looks like they have been hammered online.

I'd be requesting a refund at this time, although i hope they get back on their feet and get it all resolved, time will tell

Yes I saw those posts on FB and I have tried to get a response from them twice now since the original order , if theyv,e gone belly up then I would imagine the monies gone . I have ordered another set of parts from another supplier so I will use those .
