    Which blue is this blue?

    Hi All,

I just had a call to let me know that my wife smashed the pax side wing mirror almost clean off today
The same sin was committed by same wife (still only have one) in my T4 transport years ago too....

I'm trying to find a replacement part just now.
Can anyone confirm which blue my Multivan is? (photo below).
Any tips on where to find a new mirror would be most appreciated too!

I thinks it's called Ravenna Blue (5Z5Z), metallic paint from memory. My old T5 brochure shows 2 other blues, one solid and darker in the sample India Blue (F3F3) and another metallic which again looks darker then your photo which is Shadow blue (P6P6)

Shouldn't there be a paint code on the vehicle ID plate in the engine bay?
Any decent paint or panel shop should be able to match from that code.

The build plate with all the details (paint, trim etc) on it is under the dash on my T5 (you have to wriggle in backwards looking up to read it). It was such a PITA to access that I wrote all the details down so I don't have to play contortionist again.

That looks exactly the same as mine. Ours is Shadow Blue, or maybe mine is a bit darker

Thanks for the replies. Looks to be exactly same as your's Shogun, but mine doesn't have a big growth on the roof, your should get that looked at.
Looks like I'll only need actual glass mirror, which isn't that cheap but better that the whole unit, so the colour doesn't matter now.
Still not sure what she hit, I think it might have been a bin out on the road.
    Anyway... Sigh...

My other had the same problem with a big pole that suddenly appeared behind the van the other day. Big hole in the back door has been repaired.
Then a couple of weeks ago she was stationary at the set of lights when another driver decided that she wanted to say hello to the rear bumper ...
Don't know what it is, but some people seem to attract close attention to the T5.
