Good news is ...you can. Price is 2271 Euro from germany for parts alone.
Is it possible to get Bi-Xenon headlights for the MY12 T5 TDI Highline? It already has Halogens. I was wondering if you can get the Bi-Xenons as an after market kit.

I have just got to ask are these lights that good for what $2000 plus ?????? and what are the benefits as opposed to the standard ones , i mean okay if you are driving at night for half the year but around town are they worth it sorry for having to ask . You see we do a reasonable amount of night time driving on the open highways and not just the majors , our best solution was a pair of "Roo Lites" these babies are what I call bunny burners they will light up the road for over a kilometer in front and give reasonable spread of light so you can even see whats jumping out from the side of the road or what might be grazing on the side as well .
Sunny,
TBH I just started the thread for a mate who owns the van and was wondering if you could get them. I did some inquiring and just thought I would post the result. I have xenons on my GTD and they are great. I would say your bunny burners would outdo the xenons especially wrt the price difference. Wrt extra lights on the front of the van, I guess, some people may not want the look of extra lights.
Maybe someone who is more informed than me could answer your question more authoritively.
You raise a good point though and give food for thought.

I am not critisizing the lights its just at that price I would like to see some massive improvment in overall coverage , I have noticed some of these new style lights on cars and they are certainly brighter around town than the normal ones . But as most inner city and suburbs are well lit these days the real benefit should be for the high beams when out on unfamiliar country roads . I do a heap of country road and highway driving as my son does Moto Cross at different locations around South East Qld . I found the standard lights very short on how far they illuminate the open road , the Roo Lites have been fabulous in picking up any danger lurking along the road plus with GPS you can see a curve well before you get there which helps judging best speed for that corner . I will admit they add an extra bit of degree of caution when parking as they will cop a crunch first before the bumper will .
I went down the route of just upgrading the Hi beam to BiXenon, and the result is stunning for night time country driving. There's a thread on here somewhere that has photos and light meter measurements. I went to the local auto electrical shop, and he supplied and fitted them for about $600.
