That's pretty awesome! Very different around there these days. I love those kinda places that are a decently hard trek to get to. They're always the best.
Fabulous place Agnes 1770 have been there quite a few times over the last few years , our first trip was back in 1972 from memory . You had to drive 80kilometres of rough dirt road from the Lowmead turnoff in those days , camping was anywhere you wanted even up on the headland near the monument with the ships anchor . We did the trip in a V8 Valiant wagon what a wild ride over the dirt and then along the sand track to the beaches at Agnes .

Looks great and glad to hear the the bus went well getting in there. Friends of ours camped in Eurimbula in warmer weather and the mossies and sandflies were a little numerous. One of the (many) disadvantages of having to pre-book and pay in Qld National Parks.
