    Areo blades for the T5

It's strange that the rear wiper is an aero blade but the front's are not (at least on my T5.1 Multivan).

Anyway, I'm looking at getting Aero's for the front anyone seen any kits that will fit? Recommend something you have used?

These turned up in a search and look like they will drop onto the stock arms:

    Post Aero Blade Update

    To revive an old thread...

I decided to change my wiper arms to the California items as per the Brickyard post. I like the fact that they park below the bonnet line. When I went to purchase the matching aero wipers I was surprised at the price & availability of the options.

Bosch Aero (local) - tried six outlets as recommended on the Bosch site, no stock
Tridon FlexBlade ~AUD28ea (as mentioned by ope126)
    VW A genuine part ~AUD75ea
VW UK genuine part ~AUD75pr landed
    Bosch Aero UK ~AUD50pr landed

I went with the Bosch Aero from the UK as I am not in a rush. For an extra $6 go the Tridon FlexBlade if you need them urgently.

Have you got links to all the different parts you ended up buying??

Will be very interested to see what your getting and how they look.

    Folks,

I also think it is bizarre VW fitted the Bosch aerotwin wiper blade to rear of the Multivan but not standard on the front. Anyway after a few telephone calls this morning, they are available at Bursons for about $25 a set (in various sizes) and will fit on the existing wiper arms with the curled end. Autobarn didn't stock them because they claim they are not OEM and therefore drew the odd conclusion that they were not popular. I corrected their assertion with some basic facts! I also tried Repco and Super Cheap - no go. The VW dealer can do it for a total of $260 requiring new wiper arms! So off Burson this weekend for my $25 set. Might even buy a spare set!

    Scott,

Bosch Aerotwin retro-fit to the Transporter style wiper arms certainly are cheaper than the full California wiper set-up. $40 well spent

I went for the full California set-up as I like the wipers completely out of sight

I tried a couple local (Sydney) Bursons outlets and none had stock. I still haven't received a reply from Bosch Australia...

My Bosch Aerotwins arrived from the UK yesterday. Sad but typical when you can receive product from the other side of the planet faster than a reply from the local distributor...

So I see the blades in your link... but what about the arms? Where did you source those? If I'm going to give it a bash I might as well go all out.
