Thanks for the advice and info' , I am rethinking the whole lowering situation and probably won't go ahead until warranty has expired- 3years. Good chance that during the next 3 years the suspension will settle down anyway.

If I had been able to order my T5 from factory, I did want to order the suspension updrade.

If you are like me you will be buying the extended factory warranty from VW to keep you covered as long as possible.

Would you be able to provide a link?
Have just got interested in the spring and suspension thing for the T5, now that I am comparing to the new car, which drives a lot flatter. Until I did the comparison I wasn't aware how much the T5 body rolls.

I cancelled the order when the supplier notified me that the freight $ was incorrect & they wanted to charge GBP 150 to send the GBP 165 springs to Australia.

Just looked on te eibach site, and they don't make a performance spring kit for the 4-Motion T5
Can anybody suggest an alternative supplier?

    Shogun2 and you other guys....

Looks like the visa might be done before Christmas

Like i have said before once things are sorted i am willing to put things in my crate and ship items over with the house stuff.

Dont know what customs will think when its full of VW parts and a few pots and pans

Just for you to see here is my van with the lowering springs and the wheels.
(These will be in the crate)

    Hi Rob,
Will be good to meet with you when you finally turn up on the sunny shores of Adelaide.
Any thoughts on springs for the T5 4- Motion? Will these stop/slow the body roll? Or do I need to have a look at other options as well?

    Shogun,

I have H&R springs on mine, see this thread
    http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...ad.php?t=31159

The springs have definitely reduced the body roll; it was instantly noticeable even at low speeds. The downside is the ride is noticeably harsher too.
