bought them from a local suspension and brake specialist.

Yes. From stock (white or blue marked springs) to 40 cm lower springs -> no problem. The shocks can still be used.

Some additional information can be found at my website. Unfortunately available in english through the google-translator only:

Where to find the color: Like on this one, the pink spot -> standard VW marking.

Wholesale Suspension at Penrith offers King Springs fitted for $595.

I had Eibachs fitted, cost of the springs only $790. Done at Killara Garage.

Eibachs and Bilsteins supplied and fitted $3100.

Also had the blackout around the front door / sliding door done $50 on the spot at the local Sign A Rama at Chatswood $50. Looks great - Good tip camden gti!

Have been shopping around for prices on Eibachs in Melb'. Quoted $1000.00 supplied/fitted.
Have looked at purchasing direct from Eibach Sydney, but I'm having trouble finding the part no.

I suspect if supply them to be fitted and there are problems now or later, I can hear the suspension guys saying" Mate you supplied the stuff ' we only fitted them"
