I just had a look at the close up shots of the screens - thanks. Great job - I think I may be making something very similar for my Beach.

Did your Beach come with the side bumper strips from new? I had to add mine as an "extra".

Is your awning mounted using the VW specific brackets or is it hanging off the roof racks?

Here is a link to photos of my new awning and mounts. I imported the famia brackets from Italy, but unfortunately they were for a van with the door on the other side, but luckily only one needed to be modified (rear) and I drilled out the rivets and corrected the angle for the other side.

I riveted an awning track both sides of the van so awning has slot brackets and fix on the roof racks, very secure. Strip I had added and bumper painted out.........David
