Being a typical kid carrier, expect most of them to have trashed interiors.
Hi all,
Looking to change from 2008 Caddy Maxi Life(bought new one of the first in the counrtry) to a T5 Multi Highline 5 cyl, sub 100,000 k's. Assuming things like record of servicings carried out on or near correct intervals is standard. Saddly there is a significant difference in values and which forces me to consider the bottom end of the market.
From what I have noted it seems possible to get a 2005 sub 100,000 for under $30k, it will just take time.
What sort of things should I be looking out for, known problems etc.
Thanks in advance,
Two Dogs

I picked up an 09 with 28k for $37500 at auction. Take your time, look everywhere.
Check for service history, correct oils used etc. If the auto has not be serviced get it done.

I may have been lucky, but I picked up our 2005 2.5 TDI with 200,000km for $20K. It has a reasonable service history, but is running really well and after some maintenance it is going fine after adding another 20,000km (even adding a bluefin tune). A low KM reading on an older model does not mean it is more reliable unfortunately.
Check the recalls have been done, water pump is the main one. Watch out for cracking on the exhaust manifold.
Best luck.
Thanks for the feedback, another question then if I may.
How many k's is too many ?
