As long as the timing belt etc. was done properly & there is no tendency to overheating you should be fine. My opinion on long trips is to take it easy & not travel to fast/hard. Take some tools with you but not too much can be done on the side of the road. I now take a multimeter with me & a workshop manual. If you are travelling soon, the weather should be with you without the stress of summer heat on the tyres & engine. Enjoy the trip & try not to worry about things that could go wrong.
Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.
