Hi guys
I have a early model 2015 t5 Multivan. 55000kms and I need to replace the pads and rotors front and rear and it hurts.
Has anyone upgraded to a different kind of aftermarket rotor that isn't as soft and wont wear out as fast? I'm not to keen to spend $1200 to replace both front and rear to have to do it again in another 50k.
I understand the difference in changing to harder types effects braking etc so don't need to go down that path. Just after something that will last and interested to hear from you guys with your experiances.

The $1200 for the lot is actually a good price.

Yeah its not to bad but I'm after something that isn't going to wear out again soon. Not so much the price, I would rather change pads and not pads and rotors every time.
Check with Brakes Direct here in Brisbane they have a huge selection and deliver as well , I have done all our vans with their products discs and rotors for the last 15 plus years . Australia's Experts in Automotive Braking Components!
I'm using DBA discs with Italian pads and my front discs go 3 or 4 pad changes before I do the discs again.

That's exactly what I did.
eBay tool for pushing the brake pistons back in (wind on the rears) + rotors and pads from Brakes Direct. From memory it was about $600 or so in parts + elbow grease.

How long have you gotten out of the rotars form brakes direct "the Hawk" ? I think that's the way I may go, was it fairly easy to change the rotors over?
