2006 Multivan Service Schedule

Evening All, I'm looking at a 2006 Multivan Highline and while the service book has been stamped by a dealer, it is missing the service schedule showing when various service components are due for servicing/replace etc. If a multivan owner could scan a copy for me it would be much appreciated.

Also, is $37k a fair price for a 2006 highline with 60k kms?

Hi bluefin, I purchased a 2006 Highline two years ago for $36,000 with 120,000 ks on the clock, so assuming yours is in good nick, it seems a fair price
I don't have a service schedule, so cannot help you with that, but there is bound to be one here somewhere. Keep prodding
If it's a TDI, check for soot around the air box. That'll tell you if it has a cracked exhaust manifold, mind did and I missed it.

The service shedule is most likely in the different part of the owner's manual. Check other pages.

Thanks for the replies. It is a TDI, however the engine bay has been degreased and detailed by the dealer so no sign of oil or soot anywhere. I'll be organising an inspection by www.stateroads.com.au prior to purchase and along with the statutory 3 month 5,000km warranty any major issues should be covered. Having said that, are there any other major common faults i should be looking for?

At 60k kms is it advisable to have the auto trans flushed and perhaps have the water pump replaced just to be on the safe side?

Also, are there any VW specialist mechanics or reliable auto trans garages in Sydney's Northern Beaches?

AT oil/filter change is a good idea. As far as the service shedule goes, it's quite simple:
Every 15,000km
engine oil and oil filter
Every 2 years
Brake fluid
Cabin filter 2 years or 30,000km

Fuel filter and air filter at 90,000km
Gates couplings at 150,000km

The coolant and gear oils are life time fill. However, I recommend changing the coolant no later than 4 years, gear/diff oils, air filter every 45,000km (air filter more often if you drive on dusty roads).

Check if the water pump wasn't already replaced. Otherwise it's not a bad idea to put a new one in - make sure no coolant leaks into the oil while removing it, better still change the oil at the same time. Use only VW coolant G12++ (it's not expensive).

I bought an 09 Comfortline with 27k km for $37.5 last June. Half the k's and 3 years newer then yours for the same price, but a lowly comfortline. Yours seems a little highly priced, maybe $32-34k?

What ever you do, get it serviced and get the AT flushed.

Thanks guys, i wanted a quick trade in on my current vehicle, so the deal has been done. i probably paid a slight premium, but it has low km's compared to other 06/07 highlines currently available and is in good nic.

I've found a reputable AT service centre (Col Voss - Brookvale), now i need a good mechanic, any suggestions? There's always Bill Buckle VW at brookvale, but i have no idea what sort of reputation they have. Anyone have feedback on European AutoTec at Mona Vale?

I've searched high and low for a workshop service manual, but can't find, any suggestions?

Lastly, where is the best place to source cheap oem/genuine parts other than VW Aust? Is there anyone on the forum that supplies parts or any particular UK online store? I know i was able to save about 50% by buying my Subaru parts o/s, so would love to find something similar for VW.

Sorry for all the questions,but i'm a complete newbie to VW and diesels.
