been trying to find any information and cant find it anywhere. Wiki seems to say the transporter came with a tfsi transporter but i cannot find any evidence of any in aus..
which bring me to my questions.. has anyone seen a petrol 2.0fsi/tfsi transporter.. even as a conversion - is there a reason this isnt a common conversion? what would be required to do this assuming the base is a 2.0 petrol manual?
thanks!

New transporter/multivan (T5GP) is available as a 2.0 TFSI. Similar to GTI engine but with variable valve timing and lift. T5 was only available as an N/A 2.0 4 cyl petrol engine, but I have only seen maybe 2 of these ever!
2008 Passat Wagon - 125 TDI - Black on Black - All stock, for now!
I've got one of those two 2.0 litre petrol ones has over 260000 kays so far and still going strong , just wish that VW had fitted the turbo to this engine would have made it a real performer [admits here the old girl is getting a bit tired these days ].
2L petrol in the pre-facelift T5 is virtually the old MK4 Golf motor.
I very nearly bought such a vehicle and a written off MK5 GTI, with the intention of doing the same conversion. However, it was not the straightforward swap I hoped it would be. Mounts are incompatible, and then there's the electrics...

so the later 2.0tfsi found in the factory transporter would have different mounts than other models 2.0tfsi?
Is it a stupid idea to turbocharge the NA 2.0?
