    Sump guard

Anybody fitted a sump guard to their Caddy.

If so where did you get it? I fancy fitting one to mine when I lower it but I don't fancy having to ship one from Europe.

Do a google for Caddy/Touran wreckers in New Zealand. dont know what your chances are but at least freight would/should be cheaper.

i havent seen one in australia. there are some sold in UK and they are made by a Russian company. i'd assume postage on it would be something insanely stupid due to its size. for the money you could get one custom made, i'm sure any 4wd custom shop would have the skill to make up a bash plate out of steel or aluminum

    No need.

I was quoted $169.00 for a new one so brought a second hand one today from a wreckers. Its only plastic but will do for now.

They are the same for many post 2005 diesel VAG vehicles.

You can take the plastic one and it would be a good template for a metal one

Part number for Caddy under tray is 1K0825237AG. Seems to be the same for all years and engine types.

This part number is pretty common across the VAG range as per this link.
