Well its been a while since I have mentioned anything about my van.
I reflashed it before with the Oettinger tune. It made a huge difference and reduced the 1.9 "lag" significantly.
Last week my good friend Paul (golfcart) cut and fitted the latest stickers to the front along the lines of the GB VW cup racing cars.
Hope you all like, and it made page 60 in the latest VW Ausralia mag too, half page, thanks Dom. I couldnt ask for better advertising!! I owe ya mate!
    Anyway, my latest mod...

    Thanks for looking,
    Andrew

The pictures are good but they don't do the Caddy justice - this car looks fantastic in the flesh!!!! and the best part is the colour - I'd love an orange Mk1 golf, opps - just looked in the drive way and I already have one!

    Looking good mate

    Thanks guys,
If it was a white one it would look like soooo many others, I was lucky to get an orange one and in such good condition.
Poor old GTI hasnt been out of the garage a real lot except to finally getting it out to vaccum clean it after my trip to the nationals and to see the late Davemack last june/july.
    Cheers, Andrew

V6?? No, never in a million years!!
A 2L turbo would be nice Lams but in reality it is economical especially with the Oettinger reflash and it is a workvan. My biggest problem is that its so darn clean and unmarked I cant put much stuff in the back for fear of scratching the thing!!
Left it at home yesterday, took the GTI out so I could give my lawyer a run in it yesterday arvo. He reckons his Mk4 GTI went well but I he soon changed his mind.
    Cheers, Andrew
